Our mission has always been to use medicine short-term, while we provide you with all the tools and principles necessary to maintain (and build upon) the success you have achieved. Now that GLP-1 RAs are approved for long-term use, there is no need to wean you off like there is for phentermine – but even in the midst of that, SLIM TLC® principles and tools continue to evolve and improve, seemingly at the speed of light. Combined, the confidence in how much we feel we can help you has grown exponentially!
Yes, at SLIM TLC®, we have our own nutrition guidelines (The Nutrition Star). However, our strategy to help you follow them has also evolved significantly, culminating in what we now call "Free Food? Whatever!" (our newest eating strategy). Our principal goal-setting system, The SLIM TLC® Map, has had a more gradual evolution, but despite it being the most powerful tool we offer, for many it is just too "busy." Simplifying health is critical for long-term success, and we're happy to announce that all we now have to offer is simpler, adaptable (even "Free Food? Whatever!"), and optional, to serve more diverse needs.
Despite our "gold standard" recommendations, we are thrilled to report that we have figured out how to adapt our program such that anyone with any eating preference or lifestyle can apply the basic principles and benefit! We will help as needed, but you get to decide:
