Jennifer's passion for nutrition began in 2002 when extensive study, driven by weight gain and a lack of energy, led her to learn the incredible value of nutrition and healthy lifestyle changes. She cleaned out her pantry and learned how to prepare delicious meals for her family. She also learned that many of the diseases rampant in today's society are the direct result of our dietary choices and can be prevented or reversed with diet and lifestyle changes. Along this journey, she lost excess weight, and had more energy, a clearer complexion, and a new zeal for life – and she began teaching others what she had learned.
In 2018, Jennifer graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), where she learned from the world’s top nutrition experts, including Drs. Joel Fuhrman, Neal Barnard, Mark Hyman, Andrew Weil, and David Katz. After graduating as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, Jennifer started a nutrition coaching business called “The Pantry Mentor,” which offers a complete program with a hands-on approach that transforms lives.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys gardening, running, reading, and spending time with her husband, Troy, seven children, ages 9-26, son-in-law and two grandchildren.
